Frp grating is a kind of fiberglass reinforced plastic products with uniform cross section. The reinforced materials include fiberglass roving, continuous fiberglass mat, stitched fiberglass mat and surface veil etc. Unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl resin, phenolic resin are the major matrix materials. Corrosion Resistant ,fire retardant, impact resistant ,high strength ,non-magnetic, non-conductive, non-sparking ,light weight ,easy to install ,easy to maintain.

1.How FRP Grating Made?

Molded grating is manufactured by laying continuous glass fibers in the mould in the direction of vertical and horizontal, and thoroughly wetted out with resin, layer by layer. When the weaving process is completed, the mould is heated to cure the panel. After curing, the panel is ejected from the mould. The standard panel would have meniscus (concave) top surface. Any process such as post applied grit could be bonded after as a secondary operation.

The ordinary types
A: concave(formed naturally):anti-slip
B: Gritted: extraordinary anti-slip
C: Smooth:non-slip, generally used in some place that need decoration or other purposes.

Covered type
It is used in places where there is no hole, no liquid leakage, gas play or special requirement for hole.
A: Smooth covered grating:non-slip, easy dedusting.
B: Gritted covered grating:best perform at anti slip property
C: Pattern covered grating:it has a more artistic appeal but not very do a good job at anti slip function.

The grating installation guidance.
1. Tool selection: FRP grating can be cut by ways of a ceramic disc or emery disc cutter to cut into the desired size. Generally, when ordering, we can cut it according to the size given by the customer.
2.Fixing of tools: When cutting with a heavy-duty cutting machine, it should be fixed to prevent the grating and cutting machine from moving.
3. Safety protection: Before cutting, the operator should wear protective eyes, masks, gloves and work clothes, and choose a well-ventilated, bright place.
4. Size check: Please consider the width of the blade saw mark before cutting, the length and width deviation of the grille after cutting is -6mm~0mm; the circular diameter size deviation is -9.5mm~0mm;

Packing Details

The whole  panel will be covered with plastic films and the four conrner will be protected by cartoon, and  wventually strengthened by PE belt.
